As much as you hate to admit it, you know that you’re only making excuses for yourself when you don’t exercise. Justifying to yourself ultimately to avoid the feeling of failure.
Now my point here isn’t to make you feel bad but instead to help you switch your focus and look at your motivation from a different angle.
“The reason you don’t exercise, is the reason you should”
5 Common Excuses:
- Low Energy Levels
- Injury/Pain
- Mood
- Sickness
- Fear of Failure / Confidence
Here are only 5 of the most common reasons (excuses) that I’m sure you can all relate to. But at the end of the day, these among others are the exact reason why you should be exercising. Exercise improves your energy levels, mood, and health making us less susceptible to illness. Being fit and strong supports our posture, joints, and muscles leading to less injury and pain. Combine all of this together and you will not only feel better about yourself but you’ll have more confidence in everything else you do.
So instead of using those reasons to not exercise, use them as the reasons why you will exercise.
There is a reason people get addicted to exercising.
